The KIC InnoEnergy, in cooperation with the KiNNO company, its representative in Greece and Cyprus, organized by the Greek competition «KICkoff 2016″.

The competition is open to startups and entrepreneurs from Greece and Cyprus, who have an innovative business idea in the field of sustainable energy and the intention to spread internationally.

Greek contest
After evaluating applications the finalists of the Greek Competition will be chosen and get to participate in a two-day workshop, which will prepare them for the presentation of their idea to the final of the Greek competition, which will take place in July in Athens.
The competition jury will consist of entrepreneurs, investors and academics
The two winners of the Greek competition will take part in the European final.

KIC InnoEnergy Highway
The best ideas will be given the opportunity to participate in the KIC InnoEnergy Highway®, business accelerator which aims to commercialize sustainable energy business ideas, taking financial support and consulting services for the development of their idea worth up to € 150,000.

The European competition will also showcase three winners
The first winner will receive a cash prize of € 10.000
The second and € 5.000
The 3rd € 3.000

The competition will benefit all participants as they will have the opportunity to make new business contacts and to seek advice from mentors professionals.
The European final of the contest will take place on 20 September in Warsaw (Poland)
