Prospective PhD candidates are hereby invited to apply. The deadline for submitting applications is 25 April 2014.

Project description

The 4-year project investigates the role of the Cypriot community media in relation to conflict in Cyprus, focussing on the 40 year division of the island. The project is managed by Prof. Dr. Nico Carpentier of the Media and Communication Department (SCOM) at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) in Belgium, who will be responsible for the project’s implementation (including the employment of researchers). The project is supported by Dr. Vaia Doudaki of the Department of Communication and Internet Studies at the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT).
