Call for proposals: Supporting training activities on the data protection reform

The picture show signs with the text "password"Opening in the beginning of next week, this call for proposals will support training projects geared primarily at the data protection supervisory authorities as well as other public authorities and data protection officers in the EU and EEA which contribute to an effective implementation, the monitoring and the application of the Data Protection Reform.

The call will fund training activities:

  • providing support for training of data protection supervisory authorities and other public authorities on the data protection reform;
  • providing support for training of data protection officers on the data protection reform.

Call Total Budget: €2,300,000

Percentage of Subsidy/Co-Financing: 80%

 

Eligible participants

 

  • The applicants must be public entities or private organisations, duly established in one of the countries participating in the Programme, or international organisations. Organisations which are profit-oriented must submit applications in partnership with public entities or 18 private non-profit-oriented organisations;
  • The application must be transnational and involve organisations from at least two participating countries (applicant and co-applicants);
  • The EU grant applied for cannot be lower than EUR 50 000;
  • The project must not have started prior to the date of submission of the grant application.
