The European Environment Agency (EEA), calls for participation in the photo competition entitled “My City”.

Participants create or take a photograph a European city of their choice, which shall illustrated what urban city means for them. The photo may display a positive or negative side of the chosen city.

Beneficiaries: Citizens from the EES member countries and partner countries of the Western Balkans. Participants must older than 18 years old.

 

The three categories which the participants can chose for their photo:

1. Sustainability in the city (e.g. how does my lifestyle affect my town?)
2. Getting around in the city (e.g. what is the most enjoyable way to get to work?)
3. Leisure time in the city (e.g. how do I spend my free time?)

 

Process photography mission

1. The photo must be authentic and size: > 2000px
2. Each contestant may submit up to 5 photos
3. The picture should be accompanied by a short text (according to the guidelines of the competition rules)
4. The submission of participation is to be made through the online submission form

The winner of each category will be awarded 1,000 €.

The Youth Prize will be awarded to the winning entry, selected among those submitted by persons aged between 18 and 24 (born between calendar years 1992-1998) to any of the competition categories.

The winners will be announced late October. They will be notified of their win via e-mail, for this it is important to have given the correct contact information.
