Name of the proposal: BETTER (Boosting Employability Through Talent Entrepreneurship and Readiness)
Summary: The BETTER proposal stems from a group of universities seeking the improvement of the employability of European graduated youth. With the BETTER project we aim at strengthening the link between higher education and professional life by fostering employability of students. To achieve this objective, we will design and implement a transversal competences course on professional and social skills for performing in global and multicultural contexts. We invite European companies to be part of our Strategic Partnership giving advice in the process of identifying the main skills and abilities that would be interesting to include in the new academic program, based on its experience and on its employment policy.
Partners: Grupo Compostela de Universidades, University of Lodz (Poland), a University of Masaryk (Czech Republic), University of Minho (Portugal), University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy (Bulgaria), University Rovira i Virgil (Cataluña), University Jaume I (Cataluña) and the European Confederation of Young Entrepreneurs (Belgium).
