The Centre for Media Pluralism and Media Freedom (CMPF) and the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies of the European University Institute (EUI) organizes summer school from the 11th – 15th of July.
The European University Institute in Florence as now one of the most renowned international institutions, home to more than 1000 academics from over 60 countries worldwide.
Building on experience from previous years, this year’s summer school will provide an opportunity to around 20 journalists and media professionals to learn about the latest policies and trends and to exchange views on various issues such as:
- Freedom of Expression, Pluralism and the Changing Media: Legal Perspectives
- Media Economy, Journalism and Pluralism
- Social and Political Impact of Journalism
- Practice Day: Online investigative journalism and social media verification
- Internet Freedom, Digital Journalism, Transnational Investigative Journalism
Participation fee: 1000 Euros
Scholarships: 15 (based on academic excellence)
